Free eBook on Social Security – Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 Only
Category: Financial and taxes in retirement
Nov 30 Update: It is a little tricky to get the ebook for free, but you can do it. Use this link
and find the link that says 0.00 to Buy. Click on that, not the Amazon/Kindle unlimited option (you have to be a subscriber for that). Then you will be asked how you want it delivered, and it seems the only way is to the Kindle Cloud.
November 28, 2015 — The Kindle version of a helpful book on Social Security will be free on Amazon on Monday, Nov. 30 and Tuesday, Dec. 1. Here is a link to the ebook, “Social Security Made Simple“. Note: This book is current as of November 2015, as it has been updated to reflect the changes made to Social Security by the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015, particularly those affecting File and Suspend.
Find all of the following, explained in plain-English:
– How your Social Security retirement benefits, spousal benefits, and widow/widower benefits are calculated
– How your benefits are affected if you have a government pension or if you continue working while claiming Social Security

One of our members had trouble getting the free ebook, so we checked it out. It is a little tricky to get the ebook for free, but you can do it. Use this link

Stacey says:
I had no problem at all getting it for free
Art Bonds says:
When I clicked on the link the first page showed the book link, the Kindle book that required the subscription link, and the actually-it's-really-free-one-with-no-shady-gimmicks link. But when I clicked on that last link it opened up the product description page where the only two choices were paid and free-paid... no way to add the actually free option.
Tricky. Yes. Sounds like I am not the only one out there easily confused. Misery loves company.
ella says:
Yes, i couldn't get it without a 30 day trial period. You did good, Stacey!
BRFGolfNut says:
I was not able to get the book when using my PC, but was successful when I used my Smartphone. Technology, go figure?
Elaine C. says:
I also needed to get the 30 day trial, so didn't go through with it.

Note to all. I just checked and the Free offer did expire yesterday, Dec 1, as noted in the article. Still a pretty useful ebook for 4.95, it answers a lot of questions.
Stacey says:
I'm a prime member. Maybe that's the key.
Kate says:
Lucky enough to have gotten it for free just using my regular Amazon and Kindle purchase options.
Elaine C. says:
I'm a prime member too, and couldn't get it.
Marcia says:
If it is not in your library, you can request it and they will purchase it.
