If you can you still contribute to a 401(k) the contribution limit will increase from $18,500 in 2018 to $19,000 in 2019. The limit on annual contributions to an IRA is increased from $5,500 to $6,000. The catch-up contributions for IRAs and 401(k)s remain unchanged. If you can, take advantage and improve your retirement finances!

The Social Security Administration is warning about new scam phone calls, so be alert. The callers claim they need some additional information from you so they can either increase your benefit or avoid cutting you off. Social Security (or the IRS) will NEVER call you. If you get one of these calls, hang up.
