The Best Places link in the main navigation is now greatly simplified. You will now find state maps on all of our State Active Adult Directories as well as the State mini-guides. Once you get to a state page, clicking on the red pins will show you where each town is located, plus give you a link to our review. Here is a sample for California. The maps are expandable so you can see more details. A third improvement is the addition of better "breadcrumbs", which are located near the top of each page. This livable, mid-sized, and progressive city in nothern North Carolina has some lovely old neighborhoods. It is situated on a giant bay and surrounded by barrier islands. Although the boating is fine, this town does have its flaws.
