10 Walkable Towns in Florida

June 1.  Welcome, to this week's newsletter.

You might have noticed a few changes at Topretirements.  Last Friday we moved our server to the "cloud". So far the speed and performance improvements have been dramatic.
There have been a few side effects, however. The DailyAlert is on temporary hold as we reinstate the programming that allows it to be sent out automatically each day - it should be back by the end of the week. The Forum is on hold for the next month or two - the software that ran it is out of date and needs to be replaced. Thanks for your patience as we continue to work on these improvements.

Could some of your friends benefit from this retirement research? If so, please forward this  newsletter to them. They canget their own free subscription here.
Located on the extreme northeastern tip of the Olympic Peninsula, Port Townsend was a thriving port settlement before Seattle was founded. That legacy produced a great stock of Victorian buildings that attract boomers looking for an interesting place to retire.
We know from our Member surveys that the ability to walk to shopping, restaurants and more is very important to many of you. Here are 10 Florida towns that excel at the walkability attribute. Enjoy!
Known as the  home of country music, Nashville has a vibrant music scene. It is also know for its healthcare, two major sports teams, and as the  home to Vanderbilt U. and Tennessee State.
Every day there is quite an variety of Comments to our various Blog articles, but unless you subscribe to our Daily Digest you might not see them.  Check out the Blog and scroll through the comments after every article. Hint: looking by category makes it a little easier.
Forward this to a friend.   If you have friends thinking about retirement, please forward them this newsletter. They can get their own subscription to this free weekly "Best Places" newsletter, the Daily Digest, and the East and West New Community newsletters by going to our Newsletter sign up page.
