The Top 10 States for Retirement

Although there are many ways to try to determine what are the best states for retirement, nothing seems more appropriate than looking at where retirees are actually "voting with their feet". Here are the top 10 states on the basis of net immigration of people over 60. There are a few surprises.

Vero Beach, Florida

We think Vero can make an excellent choice for retirement. It is one of the quieter places on Florida's Atlantic Coast, and it offers a wide range of places to live. The ocean is great, and homes cost less than the national median.
