Don’t miss our updated lists, now expanded to 100, of the best (actually most popular) active adult communities for 2011 and 2012. The list is obviously expanded, but there have been many changes. In 2011 Florida had an astonishing 40 communities on the list, followed by Delaware with 11 and North Carolina with 10. Only 3 states out of the Sunbelt or adjoining Middle Atlantic States had communities on the list.
