Chile, officially the Republic of Chile, is a country located along the western coast South America. It is the southernmost country in the world and closest to Antarctica along a narrow strip of land between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. There are a number places to retire here, either along the coast like Punta Arenas or the capital, Santiago, or cities or towns inland or in the mountains.
