Oxford Connecticut is one of the fastest growing towns in the state. Residents of nearby Fairfield County have discovered its charm and lower housing prices, which are among the reasons why the population grew 25% between 2000 and 2005. Depending on your political persuasion, you may or may not appreciate that Oxford is one of the most conservative communities in Connecticut. Local traffic on Route 67 is very congested.

Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven is one of the country's top hospitals.
Transportation
New Haven's Tweed Airport is convenient, although it has very few flights. Hartford's Bradley Airport has convenient service to just about everywhere. Amtrak and Metro North will get you just about anywhere by rail from New Haven or Bridgeport.
