What It Is Like to Retire in Killingworth

The small and peaceful town of Killingworth (7,000 people) is located just inland from Madison and Clinton in Connecticut. It is a bucolic town with many horse farms and weekend homes for people from New York City.  Chatfield Hollow State Park is located here and offers hiking, fishing and picnicking, along with attractions of Indian caves and a covered bridge. A fun fact about Killingworth is that it was home to the largest Christmas Tree in Rockerfeller Center's history (100 feet) and given as a gift in 1999.  Picture of Killingworth Public Library courtesy of Wikipedia and Kenneth C.
