The Silver Dollar Bar in the legendary Wort Hotel is also always worth a visit, with its bar inlaid with 2032 silver dollars. Many active adults come here for one season, living full-time somewhere else.

Prices have tended to be quite expensive because there is a limited supply of privately available land. Almost any home or condo has a spectacular view of the mountains. The ski resort is located in the very small town of Teton Village, where ski-in ski-out condo prices can easily exceed $1 million.There are a few mobile home parks in the area that offer more economical living. Surrounding towns like Wilson are less expensive.
