Murrells Inlet, just north of Pawleys Island, is a fine community with virtually everything a retired couple needs nearby: The area’s largest hospital, many medical clinics, beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches, the renowned Brookgreen Gardens, more than ample shopping and Restaurant Row, more than a dozen mostly seafood restaurants along one mile on the marsh. And if you are a golfer, a dozen courses within just a few miles. The sprawling community of Prince Creek offers a range of housing options at a range of prices, but there are plenty of other communities to choose.
