Because a lot of the town is focused on commercially serving its I 95 exits, there are parts of town that most northern transplants would not like. Hardeeville is within 20 miles of the much more glamorous communities of Bluffton, Port Royal, Hilton Head, and Savannah. Average home prices are hard to interpret. Homes in the community outside of big developments tended to sell in the mid $100's in early 20so, while they can be much more than that in the 55+ communities. The area has good weather and plenty of golf courses and other types of recreation.
