The spectacular facility opened in 1927; it was renovated in 1996.  The theater has its original organ, a Moller Opus 4800, that was installed in 1926. The Cumberland Valley Theatre Organ Society is working with the community to restore the instrument. Wilson College provides a local source of culture.
