Overview
Carefree Cove is a LGBT log home community located near Boone, North Carolina, on 165 acres of hardwood forest, and offers lots that average 1 acre. The community preserves the natural assets with mountain views, and features walking trails that can also be used for cross-country skiing in the winter. Developed in 2000 as an LGBT community, Carefree Cove has changed with the times and while most residents are LGBT, we have become more inclusive. Shopping and dining are available in downtown Boone. Appalachian State University offers lectures and classes through its Institute for Learning. Resales only through realtors.

Is this place still in business? Whenever I try to connect directly to their website I receive an error saying; "This site can't be reached"
I've also never come across a phone number to call this place. This all strikes me as pretty sketchy.
