Pueto Cayo is a small fishing village with a population of approximately 5,000 on the coast of Ecuador, in the province of Manabi. The town features beautiful beaches, and is bordered by Machalilla National Park so that residents can enjoy both the perfect spot to watch the migration of humpback whales, or view howler monkeys in the nearby jungle. Pueto Cayo is not developed as a tourist destination as of yet, but is becoming more popular with expats due to great climate, beaches, fishing, a peaceful environment and natural beauty.

Puerto Cayo offers many homesites for sale with varying prices according to location, waterfront lots are of course higher priced. New housing communities are being developed, and offer villas and single family homes with prices ranging from about $100,000, to beautiful homes on the beach priced in the $millions.
